Mary's GRE Scores

Hi everyone!

Dennis's post reminded me that Mary won't brag about how well she did on the GRE, so I decided I would brag for her.

Here is how she did on the 3 sections of the test:

78% Quantitative
95% Verbal
98% Writing

Now those are percentile rankings, so an average score would be 50%, and its impossible to get 100%. So basically she rocked that test!

Mucho Love,
Trent

  3. Impressive. You must have had a way easy GRE becase I'm just as smart as you and my scores didn't even hit double digits. THey were low enough to get a stern rebuke from Dad over a Christmas break, luckily I had a professor that was looking out for me and allowed me in the program anyway. Before the test she told me I had to be in the 40 percentile to get into grad school and when I got my scores back I thought "I guess grad school isn't for me" But they (she) ended up accepting me anyway.

One of my proudest moments in life was defending my thesis (portfolio) and having Mom, Dad, and Amber support. If I remember right Mom came up to Logan and Dad sent a letter with her saying how proud he was of me. I was engaged to Amber. After I defended it we went out to eat at a famous Mexican spot in Logan called Café Sabor. Sometimes I look at my portfolio on our bookshelf and can't believe I wrote that.

Grad school streched and challenged me, but was the most valuable time of all my education. I loved the closeness of the students in my program and developed great relationships with my professors. They were invested in my success.

    You'll rock grad school Mary!

  4. Cool Mary! I didn't know. Great job! I guess I need to catch up on your other entries, maybe somewhere it says why you are taking the GRE?
